For the Spring 2009 Anonymity project, no field equipment is required. You can check out cameras and edit video in the Digital Media Lab in Hale Library.

However, if you would like to edit video on your own computer the following equipment is recommended:

Editing Software:
PC: Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Edition - $70 with academic discount (If you *know* you will never use High-Def, you can get the regular edition for $50)
Mac: iMovie is probably good enough, but much more limited than Vegas

All in-class examples will be done in Vegas.

Camera (may not be necessary for all projects):
Cheap & good enough: Flip Ultra $120
Very good for price: Flip Mino HD $220
Price not an issue (but still want a great value): Canon HF10 (can be found for about $650)
